My vacation was absolutely wonderful! I stayed at the Weathervane Inn in Montague. I lounged in the Jacuzzi twice, and enjoyed the scenery from my balcony. My first night there I was so thankful for God’s grace. He just drew me to himself in such a sweet way. I felt him telling me to just relax (which is hard to do sometimes!) so I walked out to the gazebo, wrote in my journal (which was surprisingly therapeutic), I read a bit from a book I am working through, and then I put on some worship music and worshipped him. It was incredibly romantic! I soaked in the Jacuzzi and then I rented a couple of funny movies and relaxed. The next morning I drove a short way to a park. There were so many birds, even near my hotel. I think it was because of the water. It was so wonderful to allow my eyes to see new things! I get bored of looking at the same things all the time.
I didn’t have to sing last Sun. night. I will start back this next Sun. I am ready. I’ve had a wonderful break, but I am ready to get back. I do miss singing with the team. We have an incredible team! I am going to be honored this Sun. with the graduates for getting my associates degree. I am so excited. It was a lot of hard work to get it.
I will be planning my future sister-in-law’s bridal shower. It will be in July. I’ve never planned a shower for anyone before, so it ought to be fun. I plan to enlist the help of my cousins.
I will start working full time the 13th of June. I will work four days a week with Friday as my day off. I’m excited for our summer together (Me, Katie, and Mary). I have a lot of ideas, but I’m not sure which I will implement yet. I’m glad I’m not taking any classes although I need to test out of a class which I may do in July also.

I am officially on vacation today! I have the next week off from work. Tomorrow I am getting a much needed massage at the college. They give them for free because the students need to get their hours in. Tomorrow is also the "Lost" Finale. I always go to my brother Jesse's on wednesday nights to watch it with him and Ang, and Ricky, and anybody else who shows up. We are going to order Pizza and have ice cream and make a party out of it to wrap up the season. Another great benefit of my brother's is his new puppy Molly. She is the cutest thing. I'm not much of an animal lover, but I have fallen head- over -heels in love with Molly. I took her outside last week for a little run. She hardly weighs anything! We were running along and she tripped. The problem was I didn't notice right away and kept running! Poor little Molly! She was a little disoriented, but was fine. I was the one who felt bad.
Barak talked me into singing next Sunday night. There is a MAPS service and our band has been asked to lead worship along with a couple others. I've had such a long, wonderful time off that I don't mind at all. It will be nice to be back.
I've done a little shopping today and out to lunch. I got a lot accomplished, but it wasn't much fun shopping by myself today. Some days its alright, but today I couldn't help but wish my cousin Rebecca was with me. My hard working dad is home and has class tonight so I will see if I can help him. Mom and I will probably do something together tonight since its just us girls.

Today has beena pretty busy day. I've had to see a lot of people today. Normally that's not a big deal, but I saw a lot of people I haven't had to see in awhile. Not that I don't want to see them. It's just the part of my life I am taking a break from. Yes, I'll have to face it again soon. I realized how much I don't really fit in with so many of the groups I am associated with. I don't have the roots and therefore the connections that these other people have. In a way it is good because I have always felt the Lord wants me to travel, or move, or something. In another way it makes me sad because I am always alone. I can be in the middle of a crowd and be alone. I know that I have a unique call on my life that requires of me more and differently than others, but will I always be alone? I don't understand. There is so much I don't understand.

It's Been Awhile
Well, It's been awhile since I blogged. I guess I've been having too much fun on my break:) As you can see I made a few changes to my site. A new great feature for us is my message board where we can leave messages for all to see or communicate in real time even! Rad huh!?
I have had a very good two weeks of vacation (from school and worship team) so far. I have been attending Ravenna A/G and it has been very refreshing. It has been nice to worship and just soak it in instead of giving out the whole time, although that is great too because it is part of my anointing. I have been doing all sorts of unimportant things which is an unheard of luxury for me:) I have also been reading and praying. I will be taking next week off from work. I just booked two nights at a hotel for myself: The ultimate getaway! My room overlooks the water, has a jacuzzi, fireplace, microwave, and fridge. I think I will be all set.
I have been spending a little money now that I have time as well, but "doggoneit", I deserve it! It's been fun. Oh, I got my hair cut too. Not a major difference, but a little more style.

Here is what my Education proffesor said about my presentation:
Stephenie –
Your presentation was great. You actually woke everybody up at 8:55 by teaching them something they already knew! Plus, your presentation was mentioned multiple times on the final exam as one of the two best. You just lost one point for not revisiting each of the lesson plan elements as outlined in the rubric. You were very energetic, the video was perfect for college age and elementary school students(not many of those around). My only suggestion, especially with elementary school and video, would be to stop the video every so often to emphasize something that just happened, or something they should have just learned. Otherwise, great job, and I hope you work in Forest Hills someday, so my two girls can have you as a teacher! Hopefully, Armando will still be available to help teach adjectives…24/25.
